SONIX DRUM KITS

After extensive market research Percussion Plus have launched 2 market entry drum kits; the Sonix® Fusion Drum Kit and for a more meaty sound, the Sonix® Rock Drum Kit.
Having listened to our customers, the Sonix® Drum Kits were introduced in 2009 to fill a need for a modern, keenly priced, market entry drum kit which would be seen as "cool" and not linked in any way to school music rooms where the majority of our Percussion Plus drums were bought for and used.

Both kits are available in 4 colours; Sonix® Fusion Drum Kit; Black (PP924/BK), Blue (PP924/BL), Wine Red (PP924/RD) & Silver (PP924/SV) and the Sonix® Rock Drum Kit; Black (PP925/BK), Blue (PP925/BL), Wine Red (PP925/RD) & Silver (PP925/SV).
Kits are supplied with Remo twin-ply heads for a really professional sound and a hi-hat, crash cymbals andsticks are included. These benefits, combined with competitive pricing, have already elevated Sonix® into the top 3 selling entry level drum kits in the UK.

Sonix 922 Series
Developed on the back of the success of the entry level kits, Sonix® have launched the mid range 922 Series Drum Kits. Made from 100% quality 6 ply birch shells the drum kit is also supplied with Remo UT series heads and the very popular Sonix® Pro PP922 series hardware. The range comes with a choice of two highly lacquered finishes Tobacco Black (PP922/TBK) and Natural Honey (PP922/NH).

Cajon by Sonix® (UK manufactured)
The Sonix® Cajon (PP776) is manufactured at our factory in Market Harborough, England. After testing other Cajon’s in the market place, we are very happy with this entry level percussion instrument and the superior sound it produces. The resonation from its high quality snare at the top of the box is loud and crisp and played further down produces a deep, mellow base sound.

Taiko by Sonix®
Taiko means "drum" in Japanese. Outside Japan, the word is often used to refer to any of the various Japanese drums and to the relatively recent art-form of ensemble Taiko drumming. Taiko, in general, are stick percussion instruments and are struck with Bachi. They have heads on both sides of the drum body and a sealed resonating cavity. Taiko are also characterized by a high amount of tension on the drums heads, with a correspondingly high pitch relative to body size.
The Sonix Taiko range includes a 42cm Taiko Drum with Bachi (PP320), 45cm Taiko Drum with Bachi (PP321), Shimedaiko with Bachi, 35cm bolt tension (PP327), Shimedaiko with Bachi, 35cm rope tension (PP326), and Okedo Drum with Bachi (PP325). Also available in the range are 3 types of drum stands (PP316, PP324, PP313, PP323, PP317 and PP329).
Other size drums are available on request. Availability for the Taiko range is subject to manufacturing lead times.
