Introducing the Izzo Timbra conical tantan with 6 hooks – woodgrain pattern

Timbra's conical tantan instrument is made from sturdy aluminum, making it one of the most durable and reliable instruments on the market. The shell is then expertly decorated with a wood grain paint effect for a stunning look. This compact hand surdo can be played as a tantan or a rebolo.

In addition, the tapered tantan has a natural hide playing head to create an even more original and unique tone. To top it all off, its solid base and double reinforcement system shield and protect the most fragile areas of the instrument.

Timbra is a top name in Brazilian samba, known for producing beautiful, very well made instruments which are especially popular for stage gigs due to their beautiful finish. Chromed hardware, a comfort rim and properly finished rims are standard, a great instrument with top sound!
